1. A COMPELLING REASON
"OMG, araw-araw nalang ba akong makikisama sa isang hard-to-please boss_ how frustrating!
Siguro its time to take different path, magbusiness nalang kaya ako para maiba naman!"
Are these the right Reasons pag mag uumpisa ka ng Business? maybe yes, maybe no.
Here's a BIG SECRET!
"One of the most important factors for success is to understand clearly your REASONS WHY. If a person has a very strong reason to achieve a certain dream/goal, then that person will find the resources/time to achieve that goal.
You need to be very clear about your reasons for starting a business. There's nothing wrong with going into business for financial reasons, but you have to go beyond the money . Your reason should be personal and compelling enough to motivate you to make your business happen, and to push yourself to overcome future obstacle.
How about you?
What are your reasons for joining the business?
"Is it to generate income for sustenance(pang-kabuhayan) since you don't have a regular job?
"Is it to augment income(pandagdag)?
Theory of bright idea!
It happens when your IDEA is anchored on a PRODUCT or SERVICE that adds value to the customer(market) where demand(sales) is big and sustainable(so that you may earn profit).
" LUCK is the offspring of PREPAREDNESS and OPPRTUNITY!"
Who will buy your products?
The common mistake of the most beginner business is being very PRODUCT FOCUS . The beginners are so in love with their idea/product that they forgets whether the market will want and buy their product .
Remember, your idea is not something new - it has already been created and sold by competition somewhere out there. The product is already being bought at a price the market is willing to pay.
To simplify how the market can be broken down according to gender, age, lifestyle, location, and even habits.
Demographics identifies WHO your market is.
Geographics identifies WHERE your market is.
Psychographics identifies HOW and WHY your market buys.
"We all have SKILLS and TALENTS that we can convert to 'Products' that people would be willing to pay for".
4. DIFFERENTIATE OR DIE
"You need to differentiate, otherwise competition can kill you and you die."
Copying with a slight difference
Yes, that's all. Differentiation is just copying a successful format with a difference that will cater to your target market.
There is no shame in copying a successful format this is precisely what some big business are doing.
Look at the practical ways of differentiation.
MODIFY (Color, Name, Odor, Form, Shape. etc,)
MAGNIFY (Adding more value, Strengthening, Enlarging/Thickening)
MINIFY (Making smaller, Reducing/Shortening/Making Faster)
SUBSTITUTE (Use another ingredient/Material, Use another process)
As an entrepreneur - you look at theLong -Term Relationship of business rather than a one-time deal.
Is there an EASY way to estimate SALES?
"Yes . Check out existing competition or a similar format you intend to do".
Is there an EASIER way to knowSALES?
"Yes, Ask competition directly if you have access."
6. FIT = VALUE
WHAT WAS THAT "FIT" THAT MY CUSTOMER WERE LOOKING FOR MY BUSINESS?
First: Classified who your customer were
What are their needs?
Know your competition, what they're offering. Ask why the customer gonna buy from you?
Does the PRODUCT FIT what your customers are looking for?
There's TWO things that people will VALUE:
"SOLUTIONS TO THEIR PROBLEMS/NEED +A HAPPY and GOOD FEELING
You need to satisfy both (NEED + GOOD FEELING ) to get the FIT=VALUE!"
I hope that be a great value for you when you're about to start your own business
